As a test project for the Tampa Bay Rays, I was tasked with creating a 4:5 social media post for a fictional scenario.

The brief was as follows: (Fictional Scenario) Rays pitcher Taj Bradley threw a perfect game...at Tropicana Field. This the first perfect game in Rays franchise history. He allowed no hits and nowalks over 9 perfect innings. Please design a social media graphic to celebrate the milestone.

I was given the copy, photographic assets, as well as their brand guidelines. I wanted graphic to feel super celebratory, as this fictional scenario would be not only a feat for the pitcher, but also the team franchise. The type was centric to me as I wanted this to be something that is eye-catching to people scrolling through their feed, and very clear as to what an accomplishment this was. Using textures and different overlays I aimed to make the pitcher appear to be in motion and energetic.
